Amanda and I just spent an hour and a half looking through the photos from my 2007 trip to Japan. It was a lot of fun looking through them again, but Amanda asked too many questions I couldn't answer! More than once I had to say "I don't know -- I was just happy to be in Japan and wandering around. I have no idea what that shrine/temple/store is."
Anyway, it's good practice because I'll be reprising my talk about my trip in a few weeks at the library. The presentation is called Strolling in Shinjuku: Adventures in Japan. Hopefully people will enjoy the talk.
